At the intense 3-day Org Behavior school workshop I learned so much about myself, again..in a new dimension...in other words my personality traits were sliced and diced to the most basic levels. My divergent style explained why I am the way I am that I sometimes surprise myself....It sounds scary but I loved every bit of the process. The thing is you get to become at ease with your feelings and behavior and knowing that you are and should be different; but at the same time I was constantly conscious about my thoughts and reactions.Could be intimidating but hey recognizing your weaknesses and strengths is an asset getting you a step closer to your ultimate potentials...It's interesting to see with every person you share a bit of commonality and yet your characters could be so different and with variations in severity...It's also fascinating how having a certain occupation drops you in the stereotype check box which is sometimes true and shapes your personality in its own way...I learned being an engineer has made me too tough and too meticulous and attentive to the details that sometimes makes me forgetful of the big picture, the way I always want to make sense of things around me...I learned to be considerate with my partner, in personal life and at work and check in with them from time to time, and seek feedback for continuous growth, and learned that despite my tough skin I have a rather emotional approach to every decision; that's true, I have to feel good about my seat and ambiance when I go to a restaurant or choose my corner to study at the coffee shop very carefully to ensure it gives me a good vibe...And that introvert people bring my extrovert side out and vice versa...The good thing is I have changed so much and that's a good sign, I'd rather die than staying the same my whole life:) there's nothing permanent except change; as long as we change for the better...like a butterfly
